PRECISION HARVESTING

At King’s River we measure the appropriate hardness and sweetness of the fruit through instruments, and only harvest fruits that have reached suitable maturity levels. Because we only pick the ripe portions each time, the immature ones are left to ripen until the next harvest, and we typically harvest from each fruit tree five times.

ECO FRIENDLY DRIPPING IRRIGATION

At King’s River Inc. we use a dripping system to save water, decreasing water use by over 50 per cent. This helps in minimizing waste, without harming the environment, and allows us to produce high-quality fruits.

自然又科學的方式減少害蟲

ALL-NATURAL PEST CONTROL

We take several steps to reduce our environmental footprint, including the use of pheromone strips to reduce pests. The pheromone strips disturb the pests during their search for a mate which reduces the chance of pests mating and reproduction. This practice reduces our farms’ use of insecticides and causes less harm to the surrounding environment than traditional methods that can compromise the quality of nearby soil, water, and plant life.

ORGANICALLY CRAFTED FERTILIZER

When it comes to soil and fertilizer, we use natural methods and materials for organic matter retention, weed control, and soil enrichment. We use ingredients such as milk, probiotics, phosphorus, and potassium to promote healthy growth. By doing this we allow the soil to grow naturally and be enriched instead of using potentially harmful chemicals. We also rely on natural composting methods and strategic crop rotation for fresher and healthier fruits.

手工採收,包裝

CAREFULLY HAND PICKED AND PACKED

At Kings River Inc. we are proud to say our produce is purely handmade. In our facilities only one layer of fruit is placed in the harvest basket, so that the produce will not be placed again. Our produce is moved directly from the basket to the fruit box, without being screened by any machines. These practices reduce collisions and damage by keeping the fruit clean and protected.
